Launch Tour // Wrap-Ups And Interviews

Thank you SO much to everyone who participated in the Tunes Of My Heart launch tour (and everyone else, too!) I was literally not expecting so many people to be interested; can I just say, you guys are awesome?!

I was and am super excited about each and every one of the amazing launch posts! The entire blog launch was just so much fun (especially since it corresponded with my “twin” — you can check out her recap post here, and I also did a fun interview with her below!)

To recap the tour, I’d love it if you could check out the following bloggers and the awesome launch tour posts they did (I was squealing and jumping up and down every time I read one of the posts, no kidding!) There are a few people who signed up but didn’t actually post, and I have not listed them below, but thank you anyways for signing up!!

  • Kaitlyn -> Kaitlyn did a super fun interview with I absolutely loved participating in; thank you so muchhhh!
  • Starling -> Starling’s post was so much fun to read, she included snippets and graphics from this blog as well as a little bit about me!
  • Enni -> There were some miscommunication problems ( :/ ), but Enni magically managed to literally make me start laughing and shaking my head and blushing at the same time. Enough said.
  • Rose -> Rose did an absolutely AWESOME double blog tour with Julia and I! Her post was so neatly organized and fun to read. 🙂 (oh, and go participate in her Q&A!)
  • Arabella -> I totally loved participating in the interview Arabella did with me, it was so much fun and her questions were great!
  • Tess -> Tess did a character interview with my protagonist in The Traitor In The Pages, Daisy Chessington, and it was the absolute best! *cheers*
  • Kirstie -> AHHHHH THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN! Kirstie did a double interview with my twinzie and I…it got a little crazy…
  • Hannah -> I always love Hannah’s posts (they’re so pretty and professional), and this one was no exception! I had a blast with the interview she did with me.
  • Christina -> OKAY SO THIS WAS GREAT. I RARELY TALK IN ALL CAPS BUT IT WAS JUST REALLY GREAT. Christina had me laughing hysterically as she proved that Julia and I are indeed twins!
  • Madi -> YAY! Another double interview! *squeals* I love all the beautiful graphicsss Madi included, and that last question was pretty fun to answer. XD
  • Emmie -> Emmie made history by doing the first double-character interview with Julia and I! XD It was quite, um, interesting to compare Karah and Daisy, plus her commentaries were so much fun to read!
  • Gaby -> THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN! Gaby and I decided to interview each other for her post, and I LOVED the questions she asked me!
  • Lindsi -> I love that featured image! *heart eyes* Anyways, Lindsi’s posts are always so clean and pretty and professional, and it was so much fun to read!
  • Josie -> I must say that I’m *quite* honored to have Josie participate in my launch tour! She did an extremely awesomely fun double interview with Julia and I!!

Again, thank you so much to everyone who participated, everyone who followed along, and all the new followers and readers of this blog! I seriously can’t wait to start posting, and I hope I don’t bore you all with my writerly craziness. XD

Now for a super fun interview with my twinzie, Julia Rose a.k.a. Light4theLord! She’s launching her writing blog right along with me, and now our new blogs will be unidentical twinzies, too! *winks*

Click on the lovely header to be transported to the Julia Rose blog, and subscribe while you’re at it, ‘kay?

1. What inspired you to start your blog?
I started Julia Rose (the blog!) to document my journey of writing, and to share the joy of writing with the world! It’s my passion, and it spills into everything I do!
2. What kind of posts will you be writing on Julia Rose?
Mostly, I’d like to do writing related posts, with a few articles here and there, writing snippets once in a while, interviews, and maybe the occasional fun reading post (in which I insist everyone reads Chuck Black’s books!)! Whatever I do, I want it to glorify God!
3. What’s your favorite Bible verse and why?
I finally, finally, finally chose one: Isaiah 43:7. “Everyone who is called by My name, and whom I have created for My glory, whom I have formed, even whom I have made.” It really shows us what our life purpose is!
4. What’s your least favorite subject in school?
Grammar and Composition. I know that sounds really ironic, especially for someone who loves writing, but…. it’s because I love writing that I hate it so much. XD It’s just really annoying to have to write sentences according to rules (when I write sentences, paragraphs, chapters, and books for fun!) and correct grammar mistakes (when in reality, I’m helping edit other people’s writing all the time!). Rant over.
5. How did you first come to know Jesus?
I was.. four, I think. April 4th, or somewhere around then. I was at my grandparents’ house, watching a Mr. Donut Man video, and one of the kids asked how to be saved, and then I told my grandmother that I wanted to ask Jesus into my heart. She helped guide me, and still does help me in my walk with the Lord to this day! My grandparents have been really influential in my life!
6. Which of your characters is your favorite to write about? (from any book or story you ever wrote!)
Ohhhhhh… this is such a hard question!! I’m gonna have to say that I really enjoy writing from Nathan’s point of view – Nathaniel Anbury from the To Find the Royal Truth series. He’s modeled after a lot of my strengths and weaknesses, so I can relate to his dilemmas and challenges! Plus… it’s fun using big words.
7. How many tabs on your computer/laptop do you have open right now? 😛
Only five! *holds up hand proudly* One for an interview, my email, YDubs, a book I’m alpha reading for, and our collab doc. 😀
8. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Probably a salad. But it was a special salad. It had a spider in it….
9. Describe yourself in five words.
Dreamer, crazy, Christian, multitasker, writer. (note that all of those are positive traits, for the most part. XD)
10. When do you typically wake up in the morning?
*cough cough* Anytime between 5:30 and 9. It kinda varies. XD
11. And lastly…are you more of an introvert, ambivert, or extrovert?
Uhhhhhhh… I LOVE people. Well, most people. Make that ‘some’ people. XD I’ll be the friendly one who uh, talks to people (and searches them out at big gatherings to bug them some more, as you very well know). But then again, I prefer being by myself a lot of the time so I can write and draw and do fun stuff. XD So… ambivert!
And that’s a wrap! I hope you all have a lovely day; thanks for joining me on my blogging adventure!
